Introduction
ChurchHub Inc. ("ChurchHub," "we," "us," or "our") provides a ministry operating system and AI platform for churches. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at https://churchhub.ai, to the ChurchHub platform and services (the "Service"), and to our email and text message (SMS) communications.
By using the Service or providing your information to us, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service or provide your information.
A note on roles. When a church or ministry uses the Service, that organization decides what information to put into the platform about its staff, volunteers, members, and others. In those situations, the organization is responsible for that information and for obtaining any required consents, and we process it on the organization's behalf to provide the Service. Individuals whose information appears in a church's account should direct privacy requests to that church.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account and profile information — name, email address, mobile or other phone number, church or organization name, role, and login credentials.
- Contact and marketing information — name, email address, and mobile phone number you provide when you sign up for our communications, request information, or opt in to receive messages, along with message engagement data (such as whether a message was delivered, opened, or replied to).
- Billing information — plan selection and billing details. Payment card information is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc.; we do not store full card numbers.
- User content — materials you or your users upload or create in the Service, such as sermons, documents, schedules, budget and financial information, event details, and contact or member information. Supported uploads include text, document, and PDF files.
- Communications — messages you send us for support, feedback, or inquiries.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage and device data — how you interact with the Service, pages and features used, log data, IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps.
- Local storage and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service. See Section 9.
Information about minors. Churches commonly manage information related to children's and youth ministries. The Service is not directed to children, and individuals may not create their own accounts or opt in to our communications unless they are 18 or older. If a church chooses to store information about minors in its account, the church is responsible for obtaining any consents required by law (including, where applicable, parental consent) and for handling that information lawfully.

SMS / Text Message Marketing
This section describes how we handle mobile phone numbers and related information collected for our text message (SMS) program.
Consent. We send SMS messages only to individuals who have given their express consent to receive them. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in — for example, through a website form, in writing, verbally, or by texting a keyword — you consent to receive text messages from ChurchHub Inc., which may include marketing, promotional, and informational messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Information we collect for SMS. We collect your mobile phone number and message engagement data (such as delivery and reply status). This information is used solely for the purposes described in this Policy.
Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out and help. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@churchhub.ai. After you opt out, we will stop sending marketing text messages to that number, and you may receive a confirmation message.
No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of information described in this Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may share mobile information only with service providers that help us operate our SMS program, and only to the extent needed to deliver the service on our behalf, under obligations of confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone information.
How AI Processing Works
To deliver AI features, content you submit — including text you type and files you upload, which may include sermons and church financial information — is processed by us and by our third-party AI provider, OpenAI, which performs the analysis or generation you request. We share only what is needed to perform the task.
We do not use your User Content to train our or any third party's general-purpose AI models. OpenAI processes your content through its API to return results to you.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and our communications, then for the period necessary to comply with legal, accounting, and security obligations. We retain SMS marketing information only as long as needed for that purpose or until you opt out. You can delete User Content within the Service, and you may request deletion of your account or your contact information.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us at support@churchhub.ai of any suspected unauthorized access.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Other jurisdictions. If other privacy laws apply to you (for example, other U.S. state laws or, for users outside the U.S., laws such as the GDPR), you may have similar rights, including access, correction, deletion, and portability.
To exercise your rights, contact us at support@churchhub.ai. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. If your information is held within a church's account, please contact that church, and we will support them as the responsible party.
International Users
We are based in the United States, and the Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party sites and services that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices; please review their policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or through the Service) and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
